Sara and I participated in our first live chat tonight. This chat was the first of five we have to attend as part of the embryo adoption process and was about the medical process of embryo adoption. It is kind of sad that we knew a majority of the information that was presented already since we have already gone through two IVF procedures and one frozen embryo transfer (FET) transfers, for a total of three attempts. We did learn that the success rate of a frozen embryo transfer when a donor embryo was used was slightly higher than the success rate of a fresh embryo during a fresh IVF transfer.
We are also waiting for more paperwork to arrive from Bethany Christian Services because after reviewing our pre-formal paperwork they would like more information. We're not sure what they need more information on just yet, all we know is that we have release of information paperwork in route to us.
