Making Babies the Bennett Way: 15 Months Old!

Easter Dress!

Weight: Miss Madelyn was 22.6 pounds at her 15 month appointment!

Length: She grew another half an inch over the last three months making her 31 inches tall or 2 feet 7 inches :)

Diaper Size: Still sporting the 3's during the day and 4's at night.

Clothes Size: She continues to wear 12-18 month clothes. On a side note, I find it to be really irritating that brands sizes are not the same. She could be wearing 12 month in one brand and have to wear 18 month in another. I just got her a few new outfits this past weekend and the 18 month pants are a little big on her tiny waist. Hopefully she will grow into them a bit over the next few months.

Eye Color: BLUE!

Hair Color: Oh her hair....what can I say about her hair. It has a mind of it's own, it's blonde and curly and let's be completely honest. I have no idea how to manage curly hair so most days she looks like a hot mess until I put a pony tail in!

Sleep: Madelyn has been going to bed about 6:30 p.m. and will usually sleep until sometime between 5:00-6:00 a.m. Although the last week or so she's been up between 4:30-5:00 a.m. We are hoping this passes very quickly!

Food: Madelyn can be a very good eater at times and at others not so good. One day she might love a food and the next day she won't take a bite of it. She knows what she likes and what she wants :) Oh, and she hasn't had a bottle in over a month now. We weaned her from bottles just before we went to Ireland so our parents didn't have to deal with them. And, I must say it was much easier than we anticipated! Now we just need to work on the nuk....

Activity: This girl is on.the.move.all.the.time! If she's not sleeping or eating she's running around. Going up and down the stairs, running from the porch to the kitchen, dining room, living room and back. She's on the move non stop! Now that the weather has gotten nice we've been going outside more which she absolutely loves! If you ask her if she wants to go outside she gets really excited and runs to the door. We're glad she enjoys being outside but it's not always fun when we tell her it's time to go in.
