We got more good news on Wednesday afternoon; our formal application was approved! We've already been in contact with our social worker, as we've paid the coordination fee, and we have our first meeting with her on Wednesday, March 23rd. Our first meeting will take place at the Bethany Christian Services office in Plymouth and it will be about 30-45 minutes long. At this meeting Allie, our social worker, will meet us and give us more home study paperwork and review additional forms that we'll need to complete. After this meeting we should have a good idea of how long the home study process will take. We’re hoping that things move along a little more quickly from here on out. We’ll post another update after our meeting on Wednesday.
