Just thought we would let everyone know we are still waiting for our invitation to submit our formal application. BCS received Sara's medical records from Regions Hospital today and that was the last piece of additional information that they had requested. Now, the adoption supervisor has to review all this information and we're hopeful that they won't have any additional questions or request any additional information. Although we're not sure what else they would want at this point.
We were also informed that while we feel like this part of the process seems to be taking forever and dragging on we have been told that this is not long to wait. The amount of time we have been waiting is typical. We were told that this is the point in the process where they really "approve" us for the home study. So, once we've gotten through this process the rest of the things we'll need to do are requirements of the home study. Hopefully, we'll get our invitation to submit our formal application sometime this week!!
