We are happy to say that we’ve now completed the packet of paperwork that we received during our first meeting with Allie, our social worker. Our personal references have mailed their letters to Allie (A BIG THANK YOU!!) and we completed our individual self study forms. The self study forms took the longest because we had to answer about 30 questions about ourselves, our childhood, and our family, how we would parent a child, etc. Our next step is to meet with Allie for our individual interviews. We are both meeting with her next week and will update everyone after our individual interviews to let you know what the next steps are.
