13th Annual Silent No More Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer

Sara’s Supportersis back for another year!  I have increased my fundraising goal again this year from $1,500 to $1,750 and there is no doubt in my mind that I’ll be able to reach this goal with everyone’s support.  I would love to have people walk with me this year, so if you’re available onSaturday, September 8^th, join my team!  If you are unable to walk with me, a donation is greatly appreciated.

EVENT DETAILS

MOCA has awarded more than $3 million in the last 12 years to over 50 ovarian cancer research projects aimed at early detection, better treatment and a cure for ovarian cancer in Minnesota.  Thanks in a large part to the success of the Annual Silent No More Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer. Thousands turn up to raise funds for ovarian cancer research, to raise awareness and education of the disease, and give support and hope to women and their families touched by ovarian cancer. Please join us for this very meaningful event.

Rosland Park, 4300 West 66th Street, Edina, MN 55435 Additional parking & shuttle bus pick-up available at the NW corner of Southdale Mall on France Ave & W 66th Street. The bus will begin at 7:30am and end at 11:30am. Please plan accordingly & allow for additional parking & walking time as necessary.   *NEW in 2012* Additional event parking will be located at 6600 & 6800 France Ave (SW corner of W 66th & France Ave). Please park in the areas our volunteers designate to you. A shuttle bus will be available at the 6800 France Ave lot. Carpooling is highly encouraged!

2K Walk: $25.00 Adult 2K Walk - $5 Late Fee Will Be Added After 8/28 5K Run: $25.00 Adult 5K Run - $5 Late Fee Will Be Added After 8/28 Youth: $10.00 Children 12 and under - $2 Late Fee Will Be Added After 8/28 Sleepwalker: $30.00 If you can't join us on race day or just can't get out of bed, register as a Sleepwalker and you will receive your Silent No More Walk/Run t-shirt in the mail after the event.
